IMRB International marks The Times of India as Delhi’s Most Preferred Newspaper

The Times of India has been marked as “Delhi’s most preferred newspaper” according to a brand track survey conducted by IMRB International. Earlier known Indian Market Research Bureau, IMRB International is a multi-country market research, survey and business consultancy firm based at Mumbai.

Survey was conducted in Delhi between June-July 2016 which found 66% of dual readers prefer the Times of India vs 34% who prefer Hindustan Times for city news coverage among males and females. Age group was between 18 to 45 years.

The Times of India (TOI) is one of the oldest English language newspaper in India. The first copy was launched in 3 November 1838. The newspaper is owned by The Times Group aka Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd (BCCL).
