2 years are completed by Delhi Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Here the highlighted work of two years of people-centric governance –

  • 8,000 new classrooms (equivalent to 200 new schools)
  • Private schools on government land can no longer increase fees arbitrarily
  • 107 new Mohalla Clinics of world fame functioning in Delhi
  • Medicines and tests free in all Delhi government hospitals
  • No increase in electricity charges for two consecutive years
  • 12 lakh families getting upto 20,000 litres of water free
  • Piped water made available in 309 more colonies
  • Construction of new flyovers
  • Highest ever compensation of Rs. 50,000 per hectare paid to farmers of Delhi for crop loss due to rain
  • 8,000 new community toilets built to make Delhi open defecation free
  • Two elevated corridors covering entire Delhi under progress
  • Metro phase-III near completion and Phase-IV cleared by the Delhi government
